Who we are
My name is Christian Kitson, and I founded Chelsea Christie to offer a more personal, knowledgeable, and trustworthy approach to estate management and house contents clearance.
Before setting this up, I spent four years working as a professional auctioneer, handling everything from antique furniture and silver to jewellery, paintings, and specialist collections. That experience taught me how to recognise value, how to treat people’s possessions with respect, and how important it is to guide clients through what can often be an emotional or overwhelming process.
I grew up in the countryside and have always loved collecting and curating objects. Because of that, I understand how attached people can be to the things in their homes — and how difficult it can feel to consolidate or let go of them. My aim is always to bring a calm, clear, and understanding approach to every job, whether I’m helping a family through a probate situation, assisting someone who’s downsizing, or preparing a property for sale.
At Chelsea Christie, I specialise in estate clearances (full or partial), probate valuations, decluttering, consolidation, and handling items for sale or disposal. I regularly work alongside families, executors, solicitors and agents, providing practical support, professional assessment, and careful handling of every item — from everyday household goods to fine art, vintage collections, and valuable pieces.
I’m based in Chelsea, London, but I work across the city and throughout the UK whenever needed. Every property and every client is different, so I tailor the service to suit the situation, keeping things as straightforward and stress-free as possible.
